International Service Employee positions are open to baptized Seventh-day Adventist church members in regular standing who are chosen because of their commitment to mission, their qualifications for the assignment, and their experience. In most situations certain educational qualifications are essential (e.g. Masters Degree).
Following is a sample list of areas in which a prospective International Service Employee could serve:
- Medical or Dental
- Adventist Development and Relief Agency
- Special Skills (e.g. Pilot, Aircraft Mechanic, Agriculture)
The General Conference International Personnel Resources and Services (IPRS) Team partners with the General Conference Secretariat (SEC), Treasury (TRE), Presidential (PRE), and the World Divisions to work together in moving forward with a change in the focus of the mission program in areas of the greatest need.
